hhmm it was an early morning. went furniture shopping with cat in the morning after her havin her mom's fantastic mee siam! hehe delicious!
we went to a couple of furniture shops at sungai kadut to just browse around.. we dropped by this place call mondi furniture stall and this guy called neilson attended to us. he was cheerful and witty and he smiled alot, not fake but genuine. it was a difference the previous person that attended to us, there was one who made a remark, "of course is pvc la, where got original leather at 600 dollars". that kinda got cat pissed! hehe we left almost immediately without even looking twice. we went to about 5 different furniture shops whereby 3 of them were of the novena mark. nothing much to offer though they have a large selection but the price wasn't just right there. but in which case i got myself a 600 dollar mattress which comes with a protector and 2 extra pillows and plus its stress static remover kinda matteress. lol ferra was the brand if i am not mistaken. we kinda pretty much got most of our stuff at mondi, which was good cause now all our things looks matching in some sense coz we could compare the color almost on the spot. our last and final stop was picket & rail where we got this 5 piece dining table set which we saw at novena holding the 280 dollars tag and refusing to drop any lower by the lady there, picket was selling the 90% exact same dining set for 167 dollars which doesn't include a $30 delivery charge which in the grand total only came out to $200.00 flat, a good savings of $80.00 which could mean more good delicious meals ahead of us.
after dropping cat back home, i went home to rest but didn't really make it into a good afternoon nap. finally waking and realising that i totally forgot about the women's nite at lil india. oh well, sylvia's sms came a lil too late. decided to meet up another friend for dinner and chill out... and we spent the whole night talking, gawd i was in a talkative mood. don't think i have ever talked so much in a while. lol really chatterbox i was. went to alternative an hour later and met up with 3 other friends there starting shooting some pool before having 2 shots of lychee with alcohol. taking this shots hoping that i would sleep better but opening my eyes and learning that the time was only 10am that kinda still sucks. perhaps i might just a decent sleep somewhere down the road...
