Chef Sunday
Good Morning People. Its a beautiful day today. Decided to cook debbie and wei lings first home cook meal to the loss of the bet that didn't allow me to proceed on into a relationship for 6 mths. and i barely made it to the 1st month mark. yes and also lost the bet to ash so as of the moment owing her 1 week's supply for dinner.
well lazed around the house till approx 8pm and went back to sleep. baby tried to wake me up at 9.30am but just couldn't open my eyes. room was 2 cosy to be left alone. *hehe* mary then called at 9.45 coz i promised to go to giant with her at 10am to purchase items for lunch cook-a-feast, i had no way out now so i woke up and then opened the door for her coz i wasn't ready at all. had a little chit chat and then proceeded on to giant but not before stopping by at the local mamak shop to have a little breakfastie. i don't usually have breakfast but today was exceptional coz i was hungry. prolly woke up to early on empty stomach. soon after paying we went to giant with a trolley and dropped in chicken, nata decoco, bottles of soft drink, 3 green vege, ph 5.5, toufu, tomatoes and lastly eggs. had a tiny bet with mary asking to guess the total value of all the things. i called its to be above RM50.00 and she said less then. i asked, are you sure? hehe.. true to my luck it was RM 55.xx and mary owe's me dinner! lol woo hoo!! haha had alot of practice with grocery shopping with my ex and back in australia. :P muahaha!
okies cooking time!! took about an hour to prepare and took me 40 minutes to cook up 4 different dishes. namely:-
1. Chicken in Jody's Special Sauce
2. Fried Egg with salted raddish
3. Garlic Fried Kai Lan
4. Steamed Toufu with Fried Garlic garnished with tomatoes.
5. Boiled Noodles
6. White Rice
7. Nata De Coco for Dessert.
8. A&W rootbeer and 7-up Ice for drinks.
everyone left the table with a bloated tummy! lol! there goes this weeks diet. haha! well i could cook this afternoon becuase parent's were in cameroon highlands on a long holiday trip. so in return to using my mom's kitchen i had to vacuum and mop the floor. :( blehs just not my type of mode of payment but i love kitchens! and i would definately want my own kitchen when i get my own house. ooo lovely! can't wait heheh.. :P
cooking is tiring but knowing that ur enhancing ur skills to cook for a certain someone it makes u ever more willing and ever more motivated. wouldn't u say so? somehow or rather food cooked with love always taste better. lol thats what i think. couldnt stop yakking today even text messaging, and its weird as jody doesn't get so hyped up over sumbody like this. *perasan* haha. what to do its the heart melting season and its autumn so leaves are falling, the cold winter chill is passing as days goes by. can't wait for july summer holidays it would be absolutely wonderful. 27 days more to summer and i can't wait too baby. *winks* LYSM. :)

Never knew you could make *special sauce* but hell you definitely can cook ;) I'm getting hungry reading this entry
