Q. Why do they lick themselves occasionally?
A: Nervous or just plain bored. My dog Missy licks herself sometimes
especially her legs and sometimes while she's sleeping she's licking
something but in real life she's just licking the cushion cover cause
that's what right in front of her mouth/tongue.

Q: Why do dogs roll on the ground?
A: The sense/smell another dog's presence so by rubbing their body on
the ground they leave their scent instead. However funny thing is that
most dogs who do roll on the grass are males and my dog is typical
female territorial mini foxxy. Best case is that she just went for her
grooming that morning. blehs..
