EasyPHP and the ".htaccess" files
My first attempts at using ".htaccess" files with EasyPHP have been disapointing. Some rewrite orders were purely ignored.
I went into search, and I found on a forum that EasyPHP has its "rewrite_mode" disabled by default. You must activate it if you intend to use the Rewrite orders. To make it so, look for the file "httpd.conf", and open it in an editor. It contains two lines that are to be modified:

#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
[...]
#AddModule mod_rewrite.c
[...]
